§ 40-11. Permit required prior to construction of water and sewer lines.

(a)

All persons or legal entities shall secure a permit from the city before beginning construction of water and/or sewer lines for the purpose of providing water and/or sewer services to residences or businesses located either within the city limits or its extraterritorial jurisdiction. Such permits are to be secured at city hall from such individuals as the city manager may designate.

(b)

All such water and/or sewer lines shall be constructed according to city specifications.
