§ 14-5. Building and plumbing inspection fees.

(a)

The fee schedule for building inspections shall be set at $0.10 per square foot of total construction or remodeled area with fees for square footage totals greater than 3,500 square feet to be subject to negotiation.

(b)

Plumbing inspection fees be set as follows:

(1)

Residential to duplex: $50.00.

(2)

Triplex to quadraplex: $75.00.

(3)

Commercial: $100.00.

(c)

Any reinspections will be subject to an additional $25.00 per reinspection.

(d)

Failure to appear at called-for building or plumbing inspection: $25.00.

(e)

A flat rate of $30.00 will be required to obtain a building permit.
