§ 14-4. Animal fees.

(a)

Impoundment fees. The pound keeper shall charge $5.00 per head for taking up and impounding any livestock under this article, and $5.00 per day for taking care of each such animal, which fees so collected shall be placed to the credit of the general fund.

(b)

Redemption fees. The owner of the dog or cat so impounded may make claim for such dog or cat upon payment of all costs and charges incurred by the city for impounding and maintenance of said dog or cat. The following charges shall be paid to the city secretary for impounding any dog or cat:

(1)

For keeping any dog or cat, per day $5.00; and

(2)

For giving notice, per day $1.00.
